UnderstandDocs

About UnderstandDocs

UnderstandDocs was built to make complex documents easier to understand.

Contracts, legal text, PDFs — the kinds of documents people often have to sign or agree to without fully understanding them.

Why it exists

Most people aren't lawyers. When they get a contract or a formal document, they often upload it to a random tool just to get a quick summary. That never felt right — uploading something sensitive to a service you know nothing about, just to understand what you're agreeing to.

UnderstandDocs is an attempt to do that better: give people a clear explanation of what a document says, without making them hand over sensitive files carelessly.

What it stands for

Simplicity

No accounts, no dashboards, no setup. Upload a document and get an answer.

Privacy

Your document content is not stored. Sensitive values are masked before processing where possible.

Clarity

The output is written in plain language. No legal jargon, no summaries that are harder to read than the original.

Where things are now

This is an early product. It works, but it's not finished. Some documents will give better results than others, and some edge cases are still being handled.

It will keep improving. Feedback from real use shapes what gets built next.

The goal is simple: help people understand documents faster, with privacy in mind.
